Their Back!
Late April is one of the greatest times of the year to be fishing on the Delaware River. We have a very unique migratory run of big American shad (sizes range 2-8lbs). They are a great fighting fish that will hit many artificial lures and flies with attitude! Without a doubt, this is one of my busiest periods for quarter-day and half-day bookings. There are few big rivers left in the northeast that still support a healthy run of these anadromous fish. Our angling guests quickly recognize just how uniquely special this time of year fishing on the big can be!
